CHILEAN ROSE HAIR TARANTULA

HABITAT: Chilean Rose Hair Tarantulas live in the desert and scrub regions of Chile, hiding in burrows by day that they dig themselves, and coming out at night to hunt.
DIET: These tarantulas come out at night to feed on insects, and sometimes small animals such as lizards.
GENERAL: The Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula can grow with a leg span of about 6 inches in diameter. Female tarantulas in general can live up to 20 years and males average around 5 to 7 years of age.
