HABITAT: Shaded areas in forest, grasslands and low marshy areas.

 

DIET: Nectar

 

GENERAL: Spicebush Swallowtails, as well as other butterflies, engage in a behavior called puddling; they look for mud, small puddles or other moist substances to get fluid.
