Crested or Eyelash Gecko

                    

    CRESTED GECKO or EYELASH GECKO 

 

SPECIES:  Rhacodactylus ciliatus

 

STATUS: Vulnerable

 

HABITAT: Humid coastal forest

 

DIET: Insects

 

GENERAL: Crested Geckos have no eyelids so they use their tongue to clean and moisten

the eyes.

 

The Crested Gecko was thought to be extinct until it was rediscovered in 1994.

 

Even though the Crested Gecko is not endangered it is vulnerable.
