HABITAT: Forest
The caterpillar of the Luna Moth.
DIET: The caterpillar will eat the leaves of the hickory, sycamore, cherry, and walnut trees, just to name a few. The adults do not eat.
GENERAL: Luna Moths only come out a night due to their lime green coloration to find a mate.
The Luna Moth is one of the largest moths in North America with a wing span of 4.5” to 5” inches.
