Insects are the most numerous of the animal kingdom, the number of species is estimated to be around one million species worldwide and representing over 90% of all species on earth.
Insects have an exoskeleton, a three part body-head, thorax and the abdomen, three pairs of jointed legs, compound eyes and one pair of antennae, and they can be found in almost all environments.
