HABITAT: Forest, scrublands, and inland wetlands.

 

DIET: Flying insects

 

GENERAL: Purple Martins nest in tree cavities but because of dead trees being removed from forest they have become more dependent on humans for nesting spots, such as martin houses, gourds, etc.
