 SOUTHERN GREEN STINK BUG

 

SPECIES: Nezara viridula

STATUS: Least concern

HABITAT: Any place there are fruits and vegetables.

DIET: Variety of fruit, vegetables, and legumes such as beans and soybeans;  and is considered a pest species.

GENERAL:  The Southern Green Stink Bug is found worldwide but is thought to originate in Ethiopia, but has been distributed because of transportation of fruits and vegetables across borders.
